Sago Pudding with Palm Sugar Syrup
A colourful and refreshing sago pudding served with creamy evaporated milk and aromatic Jeeny’s Flavoured Palm Sugar syrup. Soft, chewy and lightly sweet, it makes a simple yet satisfying dessert.

Ingredients
- 3 cups water, for boiling, ½ cup sago pearls, Food colouring, 3 colours of your choice, ¾ cup water, for syrup, Jeeny’s Flavoured Palm Sugar, 2–3 pandan leaves, knotted, Evaporated milk, for serving

1.Bring 3 cups of water to a boil, then add the sago pearls.

2.Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sago is almost fully translucent.

3.Drain and rinse the cooked sago under cold water to remove excess starch.

4.Divide the sago into three portions and mix each portion with a different food colouring.

5.Layer the coloured sago into a mould, pressing gently to shape.

In a saucepan, combine Jeeny’s Flavoured Palm Sugar, ¾ cup water, and pandan leaves.

6.Bring to a boil and cook until the syrup thickens slightly.

7.Unmould the sago pudding and drizzle with evaporated milk and palm sugar syrup.

8.Serve chilled or at room temperature.
